Dear Cathy, Linda and Phyllis-- thank you for the information and findings.
 I have kicked up some dust with this- which was very unexpected!!  

I have had several contacts off list who in summery have stated " we all
know that we ideally should use the specific manufactures kits with their
machines, but we cross kits all the time and have never seen any damage" 
most of these LC and CLE have blamed the mothers-- stating they must of been
misusing the pumps, even though the mothers were instructed to use the kits
by the wrong manufacture by these professionals. Some LC's  have bragged
they misuse the kits "all the time".  Some of the professionals I  have
spoken with state they plan to change, but many have not, due to not having
seem the damage themselves--
I agree about the liability issues, which is my guess why some of these
people have chosen not to list in public!  I would love if we could all
really learn from one another- I don't need to experience something first
hand to believe it is true, especially when a mothers safety is a risk.
