A mom who is due to deliver in 2 1/2 weeks called about breastfeeding after
drastic breast reduction surgery 10 years ago when she was "dumb."(Her
words.) She has been having some clear leakage and is highly encouraged, as
her nipples were removed and replaced. There is much scarring of the areola.

Her additional concern is that her nipples and areola are SO sensitive,
almost painful to the touch. When she gets chilled her nipples are very
painful.

She wants to know if there is anything she can do for the tissue to lessen
the sensitivity to touch. She is familiar with herbs, homeopathy, etc. and
is eager to work on this problem since her new hope for breastfeeding.
