I have a mother of a 3 month old with a strong family history for Breast
Cancer , and has tested positive for the gene. She is 28, and has been
having regular mammograms. Oncologist now wants her to wean to have
mammograms again. Whilst I'm aware it is possible to have a mammogram whilst
lactating, she can find anyone in the area to do so. She lives in Rochester,
MN and is prepared to travel to get this done as she would very much like to
continue breastfeeding. I'm guessing either the twin cities (Minneapolis/St
Paul) or maybe Chicago would be the best bet.
Does anyone know of a specific radiology service that can help her?
