In an enlightened world we would supply earphones as an optional extra to
attendees at baby-friendly conferences, so that those who wanted to hear the
speaker above the baby-noises would be able to do so.

Pamela, Zimbabwe (who has never attended a Conference, so is only
speculating anyway ...)
