Hi all especially Bonny,

Well, Doraine said a lot of what I was going to post about the 4H. I'll just
add a few things I found out from my web search.

Go to <http://www.usda.gov> and click on Agencies. Under Research, Education
and Economics, click on Cooperative State Research, Educaton and Extension
Service. Click on State Partners and then click on the state you want. For
Massachusetts, the state office of the Cooperative Extension Service is
located at UMass. There is also a link there for 4H Youth and Family
Development from which you can get information on local 4H programs in
Massachusetts. The Mass extension site also has an e-mail link.

The 4H has two websites. The URL for 4H is <http://www.4h-usa.org>. There's
alot of stuff on the history and programs of 4H that may be useful. The
National 4H Council is at <http://www.fourhcouncil.edu>. You may be able to
find out how to contact national 4H leaders at this site.

I hope that you and your former co-Leader find this helpful.
Warmly,
Carol Kelley LLLL and former 4H kid
Taylors SC
