Hi all,
I'm really behind on my lactnet reading, but will catch up somehow, still,
I have an idea to bring up to you all. Would really like to hear all the
proffesional opinions. I'm stuck on this diabetes thread, having had GD
myself and really fascinated. I think it was L. Davis who said that while
breastfeeding, some diabetics can even stop insulin. Then it occured to me
that *maybe* I didn't have GD my second pregnancy (did my first) because I
was nursing a toddler throughout that pregnancy. Could it be? And then I
went to the pharmacy (they sell naturopathic and homeopathic stuff as well
as regular pharmacy stuff, I'm in Israel) to buy fenugreek to increase a
low milk suply (whole different story) and the pharmacist said that she
only knows of fenugreek as something that diabetics take!!!!!! Her mother
takes it (tons of it apparently) and doesn't have to take insulin shots as
a result. What is the connection here? is there one? Anyone have any
ideas????

Thanks
Dalia
