Has anyone heard of formula companies mailing formula samples (a lot  
of it)=
to women who are not pregnant?  Had a mom the other day who has a  
friend w=
ho continually gets free formula and in turn, has been donating it to  
a loc=
al food pantry!  Hard to believe!

it's happening to me !! i don't know how or why, but right around  
elijah's 1st bday, i started getting fairly sizable boxed pkgs of it.  
i figured there was some mixup  and somebody thought his 1 yr bday was  
actually his day of birth ...  but i don't know how or where since he  
was a homebirth and i never register any personal info at all w/  
maternity or baby stores - or nay stores at all, for that matter . i  
refuse the pkg and send it back to the mfgr w/ "breast is best"  
scrawled on the pkg in black permanent marker. i called the co and  
asked to be removed from the list as well, but still get the  
literature and free box of formula about every 4ish months, it drives  
me crazy !
