Dear Linda,
Your mom will eventually stop leaking as her bx site heals.  It is not
recommended to suture these sites, in fact I&D of an abscess would be left
open to drain and heal.
Reassure her that this is normal, will cease on it's own, wear absorbent pads
and change them frequently.
