"My perinatologists do not routinely induce or section twins."

What bliss! Where I work, 100% of twin births are by Caesarean, before the
38th week! Singleton births are usually Caesarean as well - and often
between 37and 38 weeks. This week we actually had a non-medicated water
birth - and one other birth that was vaginal (epidural and vacuum). It's
not surprising that we have feeding problems with so few of our babies being
truly full term. On the positive side, we do have the babies breastfeeding
within about one hour of the Caesarean (I like to have them skin-to-skin).
