Pat asks,

<<Would it be appropriate for ILCA or IBLCE to go after American Baby legally
for proporting this person to being an LC when she isn't certified? Can't
wait to see a copy :-( Pat in SNJ>>

Unfortunately, the term "lactation consultant" is not a protected term
legally so anyone can use it whether they are certified by IBLCE or simply had a
lovely breastfeeding experience themselves and decided to hang out their shingle.
So actually nothing can be done. And, it was the writer of the article that
designated this person as a lactation consultant -- goodness knows how she
truly represents herself.....could be anything.

Interesting, isn't it?

For us it is the day after Christmas, and we are taking Tim to get his wisdom
teeth out. What a lovely way to spend "Boxing Day" (which in our house
consists of getting rid of all the boxes the presents came in!)
