Hello my Lactnet friends,
I have a mother with Narcalepsy, she is taking Cylert (do not know
dosage) for this condition.  Baby is 6 weeks old and mom has her
period back.  Milk supply has dropped *dramatically*.  Can the Cylert
have any effect on the milk supply?  Also, the early return of her
periods be effecting the milk supply, permanently?
Or will this be an intermittent concern?  Also, she started taking
Cylert about one and a half weeks ago. Is willing to not take, in fact
told me tonight she was going to stop for now. (Apparently she is not
concerned about not taking it.)  Is there another medication she could
substitute, if in deed this one is the problem?  Is not reviewed in
Hale.  Help...
