Hello Everyone,
I am new to the listserv. I am a Perinatal patient educator, Lactation
Consultant Registered Nurse on the mother-baby unit at Hackensack University
Medical Center. I would love to hear from any of you who might be doing or
interested in doing research on the following topic:

What is the relationship between duration of breatfeeding and good
prenatal breastfeeding instruction. My hypothesis is that with good
prenatal instruction, the mother is more willing and able to breast
feed for the duration. The reason for this is that she has more
knowledge of what to expect, how to best position the baby for
feeding, what to look for etc.
Beleive it or not, I have found very little in the literature on this
subject, and I have been combing the literatue very carefully. I
would love to contact any of you doing research, interested in this
topic, or know of articles I may have overlooked.
