A local LC who is not on the list asked me to post this question:

A mother is breastfeeding an 11 month old, thriving infant. Mom has had
recurrent pain in her breasts that has been attributed to yeast and treated
with topicals and
Diflucan.

Now she is noticing that when the infant comes off breast there are teeth
indentations about 1/8 inch up from the nipple. This infant is NOT bitting,
but leaves these marks.

Mom is wondering if this is causing some of the breast pain ie. infant doing
some "hanging on" with gums etc.

Has anyone else had this type of experience???

Thanks.

Karen
