I would like to add to my previous post and respond to this growth spurt thread
at the same time. For the mother who maintains her early "over-supply" this is a
moot issue. There is no "growth spurt" because there is no drop in supply and
when baby catches up...hey, that feels great!

I wonder if tribal women experience "growth spurts" the way we do? I bet not...I
bet they don't suppress their supplies either. A woman with ample milk for two
or three babies is probably seen as a gift!
