It can be very difficult to embrace illness, but it can also be the most
powerful way to heal.
Dear Friends:
Jennifer makes a powerful point. Symptoms and illness are usually
messengers and guides to healing. A big problem comes when folks suppress the
symptoms and call it healing. The basic problem doesn't go away.
Kind of like the Ad Campaign. The truth is being suppressed; the formula
companies and special interest groups (good grief, could the AAP be considered
one of those?) have suppressed the symptoms, politicians call it healing and
some breastfeeding advocates go along, saying that it is better than
nothing....................yet babies will still be sickened and even die because of
the basic problem, lack of breastfeeding.
