Carla D'Anna posted once about a small device called a "nipple puller".
They are less than $5 apiece and very simple for the mother to use if
there is actual inversion of the nipple.

I had ordered several to have on hand, and supplied one last week to a
mother with severely inverted nipples, to use right before a feeding. It
has helped maintain her hope that she will be able to entice her baby to
transition fully to the breast within the near future. (Many other
complications at birth.)

It is amazing to see how easily and quickly it works. The results are, of
course, temporary, but give adequate time for the baby to latch and do
the rest.

I find it far superior to the more complicated and expensive ones on the
market. They are imported from Japan through a dealer in Canada. Order

I have no financial interest in this product.
