To add to Kathy's comment. The movie does a very good job at promoting
attending to the child. Jack (DeNiro) may care about the breastmilk, but he is
also a bit anal about the Ferber method. In a scene with Ben Stiller, he is
watching the child, but cannot deal with the whole Ferber method, and goes in
to attend to him. The Focker family promotes attachment parenting. The
mother (Barbara Streisand) talks about him nursing her son for quite a long time,
and not getting out of his parent's bed until he is 10 years old.
Streisands lines are very pro breastfeeding, attachment parenting.

Saw it 12/24- this is what I remembered......the mom of about a 1 yr.old
has gone out of town, and has left ebm for the baby to be fed by the
grandparents... DeNiro states benefits of breast milk, and how wonderful
it is and doesn't want the baby on a traditional nipple, so he invented
a breast that he straps on to feed the baby with ebm. I remember
thinking that it was good information re: breast milk...a lot of jokes
around the whole thing but never the less good correct info about
benefits and how important to get breastmilk.
