breastfed! Don't you wish the school could figure that out?"

Just as an aside:

I recently returned to work as an eighth grade communication skills &
social studies teacher. My students are completing a unit on
propaganda, and I have used the case studies of the Nestle (& others)
formula marketers as a classic example of the negative effects of
agressive marketing. My students are totally interested-- at first
there were a few giggles when I said the word breast (mostly from the
girls, actually, which surprised me!), but they are fascinated now.
My science team member has done a unit on breastfeeding as part of her
health unit, and I have pulled in as much info about breastfeeding as
possible. Already several of the girls have stated that they will
breastfeed their babies, and one of my more outspoken guys said there
was no way his wife would ever formula feed-- he does'nt want to get
up at night! :)

Anyway, there's at least one eighth grade teacher out there working
the benefits of breastfeeding into her curriculum! :)
