Dear JP, when I read this, I immediately felt that something else,
underlying issues of some sort, are at play here. I have been reading
quickly, and saw Cathy Genna, maybe, refer to sensory integration
issues...I would put forth that there are other issues here that
masquerade as breastfeeding issues, but may really be connected to
deeper issues that go beyond the scope of my personal ability.  I would
like to see someone take a look at this baby, perhaps a skilled OT, etc.
The gagging with flow, etc, reminds me of a baby I helped a few weeks
ago....and at that point, colleagues told me that when it didn't make
sense, and the problem was not discernable, there were likely other
additional issues at play.
