I saw that on ER too.  I had several reactions:  the first was, why the H**L
don't they ever show a WOMAN breastfeeding?  It seemed to be a freak show
they were offering so that people could be grossed out.  The second reaction
was a bit less angry, the character seems to be a nice man, connected to his
baby, etc.  But I have a sick hunch that the producers weren't trying to
improve the breastfeeding rate, promote the normality of it or protect a
woman's right to breastfeed.  Just a hunch.
