Monique -- do you realize that the father of Louise Erdrich's kids was
Michael Dorris, an anthropology professor at Dartmouth (and author) who
killed himself several years ago after being accused of molesting his own
daughters?  The image of the "net in his hands" is really gross, when you
know what he [is accused of] doing with them once he caught them in his net.
:(    I'm very surprised the bus company put that up.  Wonder if they know
the story.  Wonder if Louise knows this poem is up in busses???
