The woman who leaks milk all the time needs to have her prolactin checked,
as well as her TSH, as she most likely has a pituitary adenoma.  This may
give her no problem in the short run, but they can grow locally and affect
vision, and/or affect other hormones.  If this is the case, or even if her
prolactin is high but there is no tumor, she might be able to use
bromocriptine after weaning to stop milk production.  I'd suggest she
discuss this with her family physician or ob and/or an endocrinologist.
