Hi Kim and all

I was part of one of the milk production studies with the Hartmann team here in Western Australia in 1999 :-)) and my letter from the team says 788+216g (g equates to mls when weighed). This research showed volumes definitely did not increase between 1 and 6 months in individuals. My logic also argues that beyond 6 months "most" infants are having complementary foods and drinks so breastmilk volume taken by infant would decrease - not increase.
I would think Tom Hale would have the most up to date information - worth an email??

regards
Del
