Hi to all,
I hope some of my buddies are around and that you are not all at ILCA where I
wish I were. Oh well next year I will go to ILCA. It is always so much fun to
see everyone and visit.
Well here is my problem. A mom breastfeeding spilled hot tea on her breast and
has 2nd degree burns over her breast but not on her nipples and areola so she
is breastfeeding. But she has developed a galactocele. My guess is that this is
due to the burns and by not emptying the breast completely. The galactocele
diagnosis was made by ultrasound and an attempt was made to aspirate the cyst
but the fluid was so thick it could not be done.
Now my question is should the cyst be surgically removed? If not removed will
the thick creamy fluid reabsorb and if so how long would it take to reabsorb?
TIA

In the Seattle area where we might hit 90 degrees on Sat. Doesn't happen often!
My bones will finally be warm for at least a few hours.
