A local 6 day old with a bili of 20 was put on home phototherapay and taken
off the breast for 24 hrs "because formula binds to bilirubin better than
breastmilk does."  Where would the doc have gotten that idea?  Could it
just have been his way of explaining taking a baby off the breast to look
for other causes of high bili in a 6 day old?
