To answer a few questions:

The reason I can know when a certain message was aired on Lactnet is because
I save a LOT of messages...I have a EUDORA mail program, and have separate
mailboxes..ie Lactnet is the folder, then I have Infant Illness, Drugs,
Cultural aspects, etc.  I save a lot and can look for things quickly. This
is a very good mail program (No I am not paid by Qualcomm).

The reason that people get a message saying that their message was
distributed to 22 recipients, is the fact that only 22 out of almost 800
subscribers receive INDIVIDUAL messages..ie NOT digests.   Your message goes
to everyone who is on Lactnet and set to mail.
