Breastmilk (and just about anything with any fats in it) will spot
polyester fibers. So any clothing which is polyester or a cotton/poly
blend may show "oil spots" from breastmilk. One reason why we use 100%
cotton sheets and as 100% cotton fabric clothing for infant clothing as we
can. Also, if the "exclusively breastfed" baby is receiving vitamin
drops, they will stain clothing quite badly.
