I've been working with an adopting mom.  I haven't done this in several
years and need some advice.  She has been pumping several times a day for
two months now.  She was diagnosed with infertility but was also told her
hormones were normal (?).  Since pumping, her breasts seem larger (to her),
her Montgomery glands seem more prominent, and she feels very relaxed while
pumping.  But she has gotten no milk.  The baby is due in about five weeks.
The nurse-midwives who are delivering the baby (this adopting mom will be
there for the birth) will give the adopting mom Reglan when it's time.  Do
you think there's much chance of her getting any milk if there's none so far
from pumping?

Also, has anyone known of a mother who has tried taking birth control pills
for some months to simulate pregnancy  before beginning pumping prior to
adopt a baby.  It's too late for this particular adopting mother but I saw
it recommended on a web site and was curious about whether there was any
validity to it. Any literature anywhere about it?
