Hi:

I am working on a research proposal which will examine the relationship between
epidural use in labour and subsequent breastfeeding in the first 7 days.  I plan
to use Matthew's IBFAT.  If anyone out there has any tips for me before I get
into data collection regarding the tool or my subject please let me know.  I
must add that I was extremely dismayed to discover, in my lit search, the volume
of material out there demonstrating local anaesthesia's impact on newborn
behaviour and feeding.  It is very common here in Canada for women to be told
that the epidural will not go to their baby.....
