   If this is true it is indeed quite sad/ the reasons the other campaigns
did not go through this is there was no one on the "other side" who stood to
loose as much as the formula companies/  seat belts actually made money for the
car industry.

  I do  recall that the anti smoking campaign did have a lot of difficulty
... there too the "other side" had a strong financial interest.
