JUST A QUICKIE--I ONLY RECcommend antihistamines if someone has allergies,
as there are risks of taking these drugs for the mom who isn't nursing,
even. For  a uri that is not allergic, usually antihistamines don't have
much of a role.  Saline nasal spray works great, and without
toxicity....and tincture of time, lots of fluids, vitamin c... Anne Eglash
