Dear Lactnetters,

This morning I had a query from a mother who started using extra virgin
coconut oil as a treatment of her baby's oral thrush and her nipples. The
baby is about 6 weeks old. She wanted to know if this were all right. I know
I read about this somewhere, but I cannot find the source. Can anyone help
with this information?

Many thanks in advance.

Virginia
