June, I know some people at one of the larger Boston hospitals that may be of
some help.  Women certainly can have a mammogram while breastfeeding.  She
just needs to empty the breast as much as possible just prior to the test.  What
she is hearing from this physician is totally untrue and needs to find
someone else.
