There is an article today on formula samples in the NY Times. It is not in
depth, ..it does not mention what hospitals take in lieu of handing out
formula samples, the incredible amounts of money and "donations," that are
made, nor does it mention that formula samples are not "free," that mothers
and babies who use formula and who experience health issues pay for these
samples in more ways than one. Check it out. I thought it was ok, but not
nearly in depth or balanced enough. The insidiousness of these samples is
not exposed, as I feel it should be.
