I have a mom who went in for a Depo shot, and was given Testosterone on accident! After the wrong shot was given, they gave her the Depo afterwards and told her not to breastfeed for 6 weeks.  I can't find anything on Testosterone in Hale's book or anywhere else. I have a feeling that this hormone would definitely cause a negative effect on lactation in the first place, but why would you stop breastfeeding for that long of a period of time?
