UG, I am sitting for the exam for the 3rd time (passed the first two times :)) and was very unhappy to read the paper concerning how we were to be treated during the exam. NO WATER? NO medication? No tissue?

Are we Professionals, or are we ill behaved teenagers, EXPECTED to make trouble, sitting an exam in Juvenile Hall?

I have migraines and need to stay hyper hydrated to stave off pain, I may also need meds during the exam.

I guess I'll have to take frequent bathroom breaks in order to do this.

I wish the IBCLE would have treated us like Professionals, especially during a most stressful time like sitting for Boards.

I am most unhappy at these developments. In the past water, a snack if needed, tissue, cough drops and medications were all allowed. I don't know what the proctor service thinks we are going to DO with a few tissues, a bottle of water and necessary medication, but I guess, after reading the overly anal "instructions" (concerning basically what is "NOT" allowed during the exam, and myriad things that would disqualify us from taking the exam) they think something awful or cheat related?

Really, imo, the IBLCE should have been more understanding of the exam candidates' needs.

Like I need more stress right now.

Complaining,

sitting boards for the 3rd time (like I didn't get it RIGHT the first two?)

PS, I also have NO idea how to turn off my brand new cell phone, I'm not letting anyone hold on to it and there were NO specifications on what we are supposed to do with our lunch (as we were told there may be NO place for us to eat) out belongings, or our "not allowed" possessions, like books, phones etc.
