The only experience I have is personal experience.  I felt comfortable with
the choice because it is a very low dose progesterone.  I did however, wait
until my daughter was 6 months old to have it inserted.  I had no problems
with milk supply related to use of Mirena.  I do struggle with milk supply
now, but that is due to the fact that my dear sweet daughter refuses to
nurse and I am solely pumping for her, but that is another story.  I do not
believe my current supply issue is at all related to the use of Mirena as my
milk supply was abundant until my daughter weaned prematurely.
