We will also have a bouncy castle, free BBQ, face painter, local agencies, our breastfeeding group, us midwives...awesome stuff.

Sounds like fun, Steph!

I have seen lots of buzz on Twitter and Facebook this week.

If we can get our act together, the Breastfeeding Action Committee of Edmonton will launch a survey this week to coincide with WBW on our city's performance 10 years after what we call "the summer of the pool incidents."

A decade ago number of local moms were tossed from their local pools for breastfeeding, or asked to cover up. Led by Barb Strange, IBCLC, our action committee formed and worked to convince our local officials to change their policies. Barb later wrote "Breastfeeding at Municipal Pools in Canada: A Report from the Breastfeeding Action Committee of Edmonton."

We're launching our survey this week and hope to compile a report card for release later this summer.
