Anyone else heard of migraines from hormonal fluctuations? TIA
Cheryl Parrott RN, BSN >>
I suffered from hormonally related migraines since I was a teen. When I was
about 45, I was treated for hypertension with verapamil. I subsequently
noticed that I didn't get migraines. A few months after I started the med, I
visited my migraine specialist. He then told me that verapamil is sometimes
used for the treatment of migraines. Several different classes of meds are
used as treatment, including antidepressants.
