Since Mr. Knox mentioned my own query about whether formula was included in
the food drops I would like to make clear that I was *not* primarily
concerned about increased incidence of otitis media or bovine milk allergy
in children who may get fed formula, and indeed had not even thought about
such trivia in this context. I was concerned about public subsidizing of
the formula industry if these products were being purchased for 'relief'
work, and about the likely deaths occurring from attempts to use it without
all the amenities we have, to make artificial feeding less than imminently
lethal in industrialized countries.
