Maureen Fjeld, you posted the press release from Weston A. Price. I have
never heard of this company before and would like to know what business they
are in, and who is behind it. I am not casting doubt on the accuracy of the
info on soy, as that is something I am not knowledgeable enough to judge,
but the reference to DES at the end of the article is gravely inaccurate.
DES was shown to cause anomalies in cell distribution in the genital tract
which developed into VAGINAL cancer in the female offspring of women who
took it in early pregnancy, not cervical cancer. (As long as I am off topic
I will mention that DES was used for decades to prevent early miscarriage,
despite no testing of its effectiveness for that purpose. It was only after
they discovered this tragic side effect in the next generation that its use
was stopped. DES had absolutely no effect on the risk of miscarriage but
the people selling it never bothered to spread that minor fact.)

Please let us know more about this company. The information seems important
and I'd like to know that my source is a reliable, disinterested one.
