I've never worked with other moms who have used Blis, but I used them
with my second child after picking up a free sample at ILCA and found
they worked very well. I was thrilled to no longer have the "bull's
eye" around each breast, and 'blissfully' (yes pun intended) put on a
thin white tshirt for the first time in years when I was using them. I
will forever be thankful for that! LOL!

I have worked with moms (about 5 or so) more recently who have used the
LilyPadz which use a similar idea but seem to me a whole lot less
complicated, with less "pieces parts" to get milky and need to wash.
All of them have been very happy with the LilyPadz (which were not
available when I needed such a thing). One mom has hyperprolactinemia
and has not had any problem with the LilyPadz, and she called me in
tears of joy when she was able to wear a cute shirt for the first time
while using them.

I have no personal interest in either of these companies, nor do I have
very extensive experience, but thought I would share the little bit I do
know about them. Others may have very different and valid experiences.

Subject: blis

One of our CNM's who is expecting stopped me recently and asked if I've
had any mom use the Blis leakage prevention system and what their
experience was.....I do not know of anyone who has used this product..
Wondering if anyone on the list has worked with moms who have and what
their opinion of it was including the effectiveness and any problems
they may have seen with use - plugged ducts, infection? Thank you! Mary
