I found that with a baby backwards in the car seat, it is possible to nurse
that child with both baby and Mom buckled in. Here's how:
sit next to the baby's backwards seat (baby looking out the back of the car)
(right hip touching car seat for this example)
sit way out on edge of seat
put your left leg under your buttocks
put your right arm across the carseat on the car's back seat
offer the right breast

With a toddler, you can nurse them too but Mom must be backwards,
belted of course, and so Mom would probably break her back if an
accident happened.
