Isn't it lovely to realize we don't need our ovaries for breastfeeding?  Once the system has been activated, it is available for life!
I find this to be a great comfort to women with insatiable babies-- and just think, when she moves away to go to college, you can just wait a few years and then start in on the next generation!  If the idea of stopping is too traumatic, you might want to do as the wet nurses of yore and borrow the odd puppy to keep things flowing, so to speak!
