Winnie - I think you hit the nail on the head.  I had my "Aha!" moment when
reading your post.   I have been looking at "our" numbers - which get better
and better, and comparing them to what I see in my office - which get worse,
and wondering the discrepancy.

It's as if when it's good, it gets better with each kid, and if it's bad it
gets worse... You're right - they never bought into it, they never felt that
sense of obligation or commitment, and that worsens each time.  What I hear
in my office is "my first one did fine on formula."

We have a saying in the states - "the rich get richer, the poor get poorer".
The saying is speaking of wealth, but it seems to apply for happiness and
breastfeeding as well!
