Got a call today from a nurse at a peds office who wanted to know what sort
of poopy diaper count they should be looking for in a baby who is partially
breastfed. She said that many of their babies are on approx. half
formula/half breastmilk but she did not know what sort of diaper count would be
appropriate. I am not sure I know the correct answer to that question, so I come to
you for help. What if it is a different proportion? She also asked me
whether it is still considered normal for a breastfed three month old to go for a
few days without stooling and I said that it is... Has this changed as well?
Thanks so much, Ann
