Ok, this is the first time of I been asked this one! I will be copying and
pasting your responses and then sending them to the mom who asked this.

Situation: She purchased a used open system pump from a second hand store.
She purchased her own pump accessories. The pump appeared very clean when
she inspected it. Baby breastfeeds directly with occasional pumped milk.
Two months go by and she reads on the internet how she should not use an
open system pump that belonged to somebody else as HIV and hepatitis can be
transmitted. She buys a new pump but in the meantime is a little freaked
that she may have infected her baby!

Her question: Should she have her baby tested for HIV and hepatitis???
