Just wondering how others feel about the issue of what is in the bottles that are made to help avoid mothers having contact with their babies. I, personally, think that although it is better to have breast milk in a bottle than formula in a bottle, it is still a very distant second to feeding at the breast, even if that is with formula from a supplementer. I suspect that mothers who spend hours a day pumping and feed from bottles may spend even less time in physical contact with their babies than those who use formula. There just really isn't any replacement for nature's way of feeding and nurturing babies!

By the way, the website on the history of bottle feeding is very interesting and does not promote bottle feeding!

Best Wishes,
Darillyn
