World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated in week 40 (beginning of october) in The
Netherlands, for summertime is not a good time to do this here, culturally.
The well-baby clinics in the province Limburg will choose and certifcate a
''breastfeeding friendly company of the year''. Woking moms can send in
recommendations for the company they work for (or advising to not choose them!)
with arguments why this company should (or should not) be the BFC of the Year.
Linked to this event the Limburg LCs will launche a lactation incorporate
project for companies who'd like to be in for the selection of BFC next year. We
choose these activities, because in the Netherlands this years theme is
interpreted as ther right of every woman to breastfeed and work outside the
house.
