Hi Lactnetters,

I am looking for reviewers for the fifth edition of The Little Green Book of
Breastfeeding Management. For those of you who are not familiar with the LGB
it was written as a guide for medical students and residents assuming no
previous knowlege of breastfeeding. The third and fourth editions were done
with Lactnet reviewers and I'd like to continue the tradition.

I'm looking for a good mix of people, OB, L&D, Midwives, Doulas, Peds and
NICU private practice/ in hospital or clinic. IBCLC or insightful others.
If you are interested, but haven't seen the LGB before, I'll send you a copy
if you'll be reviewing. Most of you will be looking at just a few chapters.
Everybody who reviews will get a copy of the fifth edition when it comes out
next year.

I'm no longer self-publishing the book, Hale Publishing [you know,
Medications and Mothers' Milk - that Hale] will be publishing this one.

Even if you are unable to review I like to hear from you on what the book
should focus on so that Health Care Providers can do better. What is it we
don't "get"?. How would you explain it to someone? This is not an attempt
to bash doctors, it's more of a teaching session.

PLEASE EMAIL ME OFFLIST WITH YOUR IDEAS, AND YOUR BACKGROUND [OB, peds,
etc.] SO WE DON'T CLOG UP THE LIST. I'll get back to you within 48-72 hours.
I have the listmoms permission to post this.

Thanks everyone
Gail
